If you've visited Clermont recently, you may have noticed our formal gardens have new life. Our gardener, Mary Hughes, and her team have done an incredible job with restoration.
To celebrate, we hosted Morning Tea at Clermont Gardens this past weekend. Beautiful classical guitar music performed by David Temple greeted guests as they approached the tent. Heavenly finger foods prepared by Rob Handel Catering were an equal feast for our eyes and bellies. Guests sipped tea and our refreshing signature drink (Elderflower blueberry lime virgin cocktail), wandered the gardens, and placed bids on auction items. Internationally-recognized tea bag artist Ruby Silvious attended, showcasing some of her stunning work. Several guests were lucky enough to win her artwork in the auction.
Many guests were excited to soak in some local history after the tea by exploring the new exhibit at the Visitor Center and touring the recently reopened mansion.
And to top it off, the weather was practically perfect!
We are grateful for your support
Funds raised at this event support the work of Friends of Clermont. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Morning Tea and to everyone who helped make this an event to remember.
Thank you to Ruby Silvious for sharing her photos (above).
