Food Drive made possible through Friends of Clermont, Clermont State Historic Site, and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York partnership

Germantown, NY- Friends of Clermont is excited to announce that they are partnering with Clermont State Historic Site and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York to host a food drive this holiday season. The food drive is an extension of their Harvesting History program, which serves the local community during the spring, summer, and early fall seasons.

 

Non-perishable food items can be dropped off in the designated collection bin at the Visitor Center at 1 Clermont Ave, Germantown, NY 12526 during normal business hours (Thursday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The food drive is running from Tuesday, October 1 through Sunday, December 29. Needed items include shelf-stable milk and dairy, cooking oils, canned meat (chicken and fish), canned vegetables and fruit, peanut butter and jelly, dry cereals, hearty canned soups and chilis, baby food, boxed pasta, rice, and stuffing mix.

 

Those who are unable to donate food items, but would like to help, can make a monetary donation online. All proceeds go directly to supporting the Germantown Food Bank. To learn more, visit friendsofclermont.org.
